Norwich City Hockey Club - Club Day
|
Norwich City Hockey Club will be running their annual pre-season event for all club members and prospective members aged 13 and over. The event takes the form of a mixed inter-club tournament with each team on the day containing players drawn from each club team.
The added bonus this year will be the availability of the new clubhouse along with the BAR - could have an effect on the quality of hockey, but should add to the enjoyment. There will be the normal BBQ running throughout the day.
New members are most welcome.

Silz 2006 Mixed 8-a-side Festival
|
25th Anniversary of this socially-focussed 8-a-side Mixed festival.
25th - 28th August 2006
This year promises to be the best yet, with sponsorship by Strongbow for the 1st time, 25th Anniversary Celebrations, and an increased number of teams.
£20 per person covers 2 days of playing, 3 nights of entertainment including Welcome Party, Live Band, and final night Awards/Themed Party as well as camping costs, some free drinks, and other entertainment.
Festival is also split into two sections to accommodate for the semi-serious, and the complete drunkards!
Facilities, matches and entertainment all on one site, which means everyone can drink all weekend (and most do!). Very conveninent location near to local night-spots and shops, motorway and other transport links.

Bath International Hockey Tournament
|
The inaugrural BIHT will be held 26,27 & 28th August 2006 in the beautiful city of Bath.
The event is aiming to be the biggest event in Europe, and is planned to be a pre-season warm up, and team bonding event for national league and regional premier clubs.
The tournament is organised by Bath Buccaneers and City of Bath Hockey Clubs and is supported by West HA and Bath Tourism Plus.
All matches are on Astro with lunch, transport and entry to the social events included. Accommodation is available in a package to ease planning by the teams.
Package 1: All hockey, entry to social events, lunches, transport between venues, 3 nights B&B (ensuite)=£2400 (£160 per head based on team of 15)
Package 2: All above but no accommodation=£900 (£60 per head based on team of 15)

Saints N Sinners Mixed Hockey Festival

Held in the heart of Ashdown Forest in West Sussex and now into our 8th year. 36 teams for an truely awesome festival (three days) Free camping, hog roast festival dinner, all entertainment and lots of other goodies. Play on water, sand and two grass pitches. £385 per team of 11 players (£15 per person for extras).
